Item 1
TIre Wear & pressure
Tires are one of the most important items you can check on your motorcycle. We recommend new tires but the minimum requirement of tire tread life is 50%. The type of tire is not as important as the tread depth and pressures. Check your tire pressures at the track before going on track.

Item 2
TAPE WHEEL WEIGHTS
All wheel weights must be taped over and covering all sides of the wheel weights. Duct tape is best to be used. This is often one of the most frequently missed items our inspection crew catches when checking motorcycles over.

Item 3
Lights
NEW ADJUSTMENT FOR 2022. All lenses must be taped over. It is best to remove bulbs and/or fuses in addition to taping over the lenses. It is also best to use painters tape first, then use duct tape over the painters tape.

Item 4
Mirrors
Ideally just removing your mirrors is best, plus your pictures will look better. We hear it adds 10 degrees of lean angle. But if you prefer to not remove them, they are required to be taped. Painters tape is usually best.

Item 5
Fork Seals
Check your fork seals before and after arriving to the race track. Tying down your motorcycle to tightly when transporting it can cause the seals to leak, so be sure to take caution when tying it down. Leaky fork seals are not allowed on the track.

Item 6
Chain SLACK
Check the chain slack / tension, on your motorcycle. While the amount of tension is a preference, an excess amount chain slack is not allowed. Chain tension should be at the correct tension according to MFG specifications.

Item 7
Check your throttle
Make sure your throttle snaps back, properly when opening it all the way and releasing it. If not, make an adjustment in the cables going to your throttle bodies or check for the grip rubbing against a bar end or lever guard. Throttles that do not snap back are not allowed on the track.

Item 8
loose items
Check for items on your motorcycle that may be loose. All body work, levers, brake calipers, pegs, go pro mounting hardware, sliders, bar ends, lever guards etc, need to be tight.

Item 9
Brake pressure
Make sure you have adequate and firm brake pressure on your front and rear brake levers.

Item 10
leaking fluids
Check the underside of your motorcycle to make sure there are no fluids leaking. Also look for signs that there may have been a previous leak and ensure that it is not leaking once the motorcycle is warm. Your motorcycle must be free of any leaks to enter pass inspection.

Item 11
license plate
Tape your license plate and all the mounting nuts and bolts used to hold it in place.

Item 12
ACTION CAMERAS
Action cameras or other devices mounted to your helmet are not allowed. Any camera or recording devices mounted to any surface of the motorcycle must also have a tether attached to the motorcycle.
